"The World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), which was held in Geneva in 2003 and in Tunis in 2005, drew up an action plan to bridge the digital divide and build an inclusive, people-oriented information society. World leaders committed themselves to regularly review and follow up progress in implementing the action lines outlined in the WSIS Outcomes".
Marie-Anne Delahaut participes actively to the WSIS since 2003 in Geneva and 2005 in Tunis, organizing an international conference and writing the book "Prospective et gouvernance de l'internet [Foresight and governance of the internet" (544 pages) published by the Destree Institute.
The concrete action Millennia2025 MAD-Skills : Share and value your Skills for innovation and women's empowerment of the Millennia2025 Women and Innovation Foundation has been selected and published in the UN WSIS Stocktaking 2018 and nominated for the WSIS Prize 2018 !
